Tool Chest Contest winner, Gregg Novosad of Palatine, Ill met with SawStop president, Steve Gass and Fine Woodworking Editor, Asa Christiana at the 2009 AWFS Fair in Las Vegas to claim his prize, a new SawStop Professional Cabinet Saw. Steve's winning entry, a Lonnie Bird Inspired Tool Chest was chosen from more than 100 submissions. Gregg's winning tool cabinet features secret compartments, doors with splined through-tenons, dovetailed feet, and elaborate marquetry. Gregg said the cabinet's style didn't match the rest of his home furnishings so he decided to make it for the shop.
