Bow-Front Torsion Box Shelves - Details

The front just pulls off revealing the torsion box and the supporting rail to the right. The whole shelf will slide off.
Each of 17 doors is 5 pieces. Two plywood panels, bevelled. Two side braces of maple and one walnut slat rabeted into the  back of each door. Behind the doors are thousands of magazines and books (pack rat!)
The upper crown piece was the template for the shelf curves. The molding is about 6 inches down from the ceiling and attached to the top of the case with beveled plywood brackets.
