A jewelry box i made in my high school wood shop for my girlfriend.  This project was my first experimentation with inlay.  I used lace wood for the sides and curly maple for the top of the lid with blood wood inlay around it.  The feet are blood wood and the keys are 2 pieces of maple with blood wood sandwiched in between.  I finished it with tongue oil to a low gloss and lined the bottom with velvet.
