This is a Mahogany jewelry box I presented to my wife last Valentines day. The box is african mahogany with a stain and a gel-urethane finish and made up of 129 individual pieces. The top and door have an oak plywood panel. The drawers and ring tray are lined with a red felt. The hardware is solid brass. Each drawer has a stop to keep the jewelry in the box. The base seperates for ease of handling or the box can be placed on a flat surface.

I confess, this is a spin-off of Steve Lotta's spice box. I made design changes to meet my needs.
