Built in Library and False Door

Built in library and a false door. We wanted to build a bookcase and storage on either side of the brick fireplace. The door to the room over the garage made the right side seem out of balance. The solution was to build the door into the library casework. The original door was moved out to be flush with the casework and a false front was added. The bindings of real books, which were being discarded by the local library, were glued to the false front.
