When I go on a photo shoot for an article, I can take as many as 700 or 800 pictures. Typically, no more than 20 to 30 would make into the article. So there are a ton of never seen photos hidden away. Among them there are typically a handful of candid shots. Once my lights are set up, it isn't too much trouble to get a few pictures of the author justing being himself. And we need shots like that for the contributors' page in the magazine.
I've pulled together some of my favorites and posted them here. Take a look and enjoy. I think that in all of the photographs, you can see the playfullness and joy of the authors.
