Painted bookcase
comments (1) June 7th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
These bookcases are painted poplar with stained oak counters to match the oak flooring. The tops have arched openings to reflect other arch details in the house. The two end sections of shelves are stepped back to allow more light in from the window. I also designed and built the mantle.
