Knotty Alder Entertainment Center
comments (2) June 4th, 2009 in The GalleryThis 19 foot wide by 9 foot tall Knotty Alder Entertainment Center was built with a break front to allow for the depth of the TV set. The section (three panels) in front of the TV is removable so the TV set can be accessed. The soffit was built to follow the crown after cabinet was installed to maintain a consistant 1 1/2" reveal. The shelves are wood frames that have been rabbeted to accept glass inserts. This was a fun project to do and looks as good today at the day it was installed.
