This is my basement media room which has four cabinets built into the preexisting shiplap wainscoting. The six drawers have soft-close full extension slides. The cabinet doors also have soft-close hinges.
All wiring is within the walls. Outlets in the electronics cabinet, behind TV and for subwoofer are on a separate 20 amp circuit protected by a series mode surge protector. The lighting is controlled with Z-Wave RF switches and a universal remote.
The movie experience is AMAZING! I completed the project over about two months.
