Side Table

This book shelf was designed and built for a neighbor. It had to fit into a corner next to their buffet and under a window. I copied the scroll design from the buffet to tie them together. The wanted curved legs so I laid them out on paper first and then a cardboard template and finally an MDF template. After gluing up of the legs I used a band saw to rough cut them out and a router to do the final shaping using the MDF pattern.
The entire project is made of Alder. This was my first attempt to make something without all straight lines. The most difficult part of the project was mounting the lower shelf.
