The French Table

Final piece with glass.
A very difficult milling down process.  It was a challenge getting two square sticks out of this old piece of fir.
Another joinery technique that was new to me.  I used a lap or saddle joint and inserted the cross piece to hold the legs together.  The inside framework is for the glass to rest upon.

I call it The French Table because underneath the glass are receipts from a trip to France and Ireland.  The glass is removable so we can change the look whenever we want.
