Miniature Horse Barn
comments (2) December 25th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
When my daughter asked for a miniature barn for her toy horses from Santa, I knew I not only had just two weeks to build it, but that I'd have to work quietly at night after they were asleep. I built it entirely with hand tools (other than a lathe for the turned post) using some left over stock from several other projects. The barn is a mixture of walnut, pine, cherry and baltic birch ply. I finished it at 2:00 a.m. Christmas morning.
