"Reimagined" Closet cabinet

Part of remodelling our master bedroom closet required removing a built-in dresser and shelf unit. Although it defied most furniture-building conventions, it had lasted over one hundred years. However, because its parts were just nailed to the plaster wall (there was no carcase), I reworked it into a "real" piece of furniture that will hopefully last another century. All visible wood is reclaimed. The drawer runners, bottoms and pulls are new. Complete construction details here.
