This is the Shadow Box I made for my First Sergeant's retirement celebration.  The box is made of walnut with padauk accents on the face and in the dovetail splines.  The photo is cut in 1/4" walnut plywood thanks to Messman - a pattern maker on the scrollsawer.com forum.  The frame of the photo is the reverse of the box with padauk accented by walnut.  I followed a commercial plan from Wood Magazine and adjusted the dimensions to fit my needs.
