Hand turned knobs.  The size of the knobs is proportionate to the drawer size.
Sliding dove tails were used to connect the drawer front to the drawer sides.

This dresser was built for my son.  His crib was purchased from JC Penny (the Bella Crib) and has curved sides and it was the inspiration for the design of the dresser.  The dresser is mostly constructed out of 8/4 maple.  The curved sides were made by laminating three 1/4” maple plywood sheets in a negative/positive form.   The layout for the drawers was determined using Hambidge rectangles while the overall shape of the dresser was developed using the Golden Ratio.
