Closet Shelves and Brackets
comments (0) May 12th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
These brackets and shelves were made from recycled pine. Our 1906 house had a simple Jelly Cabinet in the basement that was rotting at the base and falling apart. I salvaged what I could and stored it for a couple of years. Currently, we are remodelling our master bedroom closet, and I decided to carve some scroll brackets. Everything was recycled except the rods and finials. Even the mounting screws were salvaged from an old set of shelf standards. Complete construction notes here.
