Dual Game board
comments (0) May 11th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
I made this project for a good friend who asked me to make him a game board before he retired. Both the hard maple and black cherry were supplied by him. The hard maple sections were made from scraps that were picked up from a wood mill. That supplied hard maple blanks to a piano manufacture to make the key hammers for striking piano strings. The black cherry was milled by my friends father in the 1940's. He is very proud of the board and plays the games with his grandkids.
