 - CLICK TO ENLARGE Photo: Fumed Q-sawn white oak museum-replica prairie-style lamp. My wife made the stained glass shades.

This project included a pair of lamps, 2 night stands and a tall chest (not shown).  The chest was mostly copied from from a Stickley design.  The night stands follow the Stickly theme.  The chest and the nightstands are all from solid wood - no ply or composities.  The veneer was re-sawn and book-matched except for the small drawers.

The prairie lamps were made from plans purchased from a gentleman in Canada.  They are construced from q-sawn white oak and fumed and finished with a hand-rubbed wipe-oil mixture of tung/blo,varnish and turp.
