Bluebird Recycle Homes

Redwood fence cutoffs were going to be used for firewood.
Made 30 Bluebird houses and gave them away.
The birds love them.
Changed standard dimensions recommended to 1/2" larger all around. A little more room for the babies. Drainage slot in bottom, air vent at top, and installed an insert in side of front door to take the 1/4-20 bolt on side to lock it. I know. Overkill, but the new crop of Bluebirds makes it worth while.
Easy clean out at end of season with swinging front.
No finish to wood.
