English Park Bench from old Cedar Timbers
comments (1) April 29th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
After a recient remodel at my Country Club, I found six old 4X6 cedar timbers that used to hold up the front on the building. I loaded them on my golf cart and hauled them home. I then planed and cut these timbers to size and made a English style park bench from them. I added a plack to the bench dedicating it to those who have walked these links but are no longer with us. I donated the bench to the club and it now sits proudly on the first tee.
