Sanding Block for Molding

New Market, Virginia
The next stop on our GlueTube world tour is New Market, Virginia, where craftsman Charles Neil shares a technique to make hand sanding a little less tedious. Neil developed a great method using wax paper, an auto body filler like Bondo, and a piece of wood to create a custom sanding block that fits any edge profile shape.
Neil has been building furniture for years and was featured in The Custom Furniture Source Book by Kerry Pierce. On his Web site, he describes himself as "all southern, definitely redneck and probably a little country," but notes that he has "a great eye for fine furniture." In addition to furniture making, Neil invites Web surfers into his shop by offering a variety of woodworking tips on YouTube.
