Bubinga & Maple Credenza
comments (6) May 1st, 2009 in The GalleryThis is from my wine cabinet series. This piece though made for the show of The Furniture Society Conference held at Victoria, BC., Canada,
Frame is bubinga, door panels are maple burl, sides and top are spalted curly maple and the door frames are very curly maple.
The only veneered part is the quilted maple drawer fronts. Finish is hand rubbed varnish.

I am sorry to reply so late but I don't come back to here very often. My website link is present and you simply could have emailed me from there. Anyway, to answer your questions: I have no ready to go plans but it can be done. The cost of metarial is really irrelevant for how much work goes into it and amount of detail this and my other wine cabinets have. Nevertheless, it's roughly around $1200~$2000.
