I designed and constructed this table approximately 2 years ago.  I used forms and a vacuum press for the curved base sections.  The top is an original design and took hundreds of hours to layout and finalize.  Wood species include Macasar Ebony, Walnut and dyed veneers.  I have been fortunate enough to train with Paul Schurch over several years.  He taught me a tremendous amount about veneer work and Marquetry.

mokusakusensei mokusakusensei writes: Beautiful work! I have had the opportunity to be at two AWFS presentations that Paul has given. Even though they are only a few hours long, he is a great teacher. I wish that I could train under him. Because I have NO artistic ability, that will never happen. I envy your skill.
