Glass subway tile, soapstone & Carrara countertops, soapstone sink. All cabinets have colonial reproduction hardware to compliment the architectural style of the 1906 home.
Solid cherry, full-extension drawers with 3-wide stiles & rails, through-dovetails, single-board panels, pegged corners and worn edges for a subtle antiqued look.

I built all my own crown in multiple pieces on the table saw & router table. This allowed me to vary the height subtly to conform to an imperfect ceiling.

My wife is an amazing, self-taught chef. I promised her many years ago that one day, when we had a house with room, I’d build her a custom kitchen. So when we moved to Beverly, MA from Denver back in 2002, the project began. Several years later, her kitchen was complete.

I designed and built each heartwood cherry cabinet from scratch–even the crown. This allowed me to build custom angled cabinets, grain-match, even build a custom-designed full-extension spice rack. Add Carrara marble & soapstone countertops, and the final product is quite an enjoyable workspace.
