Japanese shop stool

This is my shop stool for my woodshop in Japan. The design is a very old one similar to those used in for meditation in temples. The wood is Japanese cedar with a wax finish. As you can see the stool is made to fit my shop which is 36sq. ft. and my "workbench" is about 18" tall.

AaronDye AaronDye writes: Thank you. I guess when you have a passion you do what you can. You may notice a distinct lack of anything with a power cord. Being here has really given me a new outlook on woodworking.
