The Original Table was 15 feet long.  I made this one 6 feet to fit our dining room.  It is made of very old air-dried Cherry from a friend's family farm and is heavily distrssed and antiqued to fit the style of our early 1800s Historic home. It was finished with water based aniline dye, oil glaze and 6 coats of varnish hand rubbed between each coat.  As with all my furniture pieces, they are inscribed with a unique message written especially for the recipient.
