Together--notice the ridges align

I'm about to head out to Seattle, and for my cousin I decided to carve a little piece highlighting our baseball teams.  I took a piece of basswood, carved it out and then made the cut with a jigsaw.  It was tricky because I needed to make it in one cut so the ridges would align (look above).  I finished it with polyurethane and beeswax.  I pleasure to carve and it turned out great.

My name's Matthew, and I'm a 15 year old interested in woodworking.  I didn't get into shop at school, so I took advantage of my dads' shop in the basement.  I sure hope you enjoy my projects!
