Early in the morning, my sister was trying to take her toast out of the toaster unsucsessfully, and commented on how she would like some wooden tongs.  Thanks for giving me something to do today sis.  I really enjoyed making this piece, as it was easy, yet a good introduction into working with small pieces.  It's made out of curly cherry with a rose bubinga spline.  Anyone who's interested should consider making one of these; they make great gifts!
