Martha's Chair

It is the extensive use of hand work, files, rasps, and hand carving. On the machine side the table saw, router, sander, hand grinder, drill and wood lathe. I tried to get the highly figured wood to be displayed by choice of wood pattern and area used in chair. The project took 45 hrs and was finished with 5 coats of Watco Danish oil and Bree wax.
