A Transition from Leg to Stretcher

While perusing some of the used furniture sites, I came across a mahogany coffee table designed by Edmund Spance and manufactured in Mexico in 1953. I modeled this coffee table loosely after that one. I was mostly interested in the legs with the smooth transition to the stretchers. This is somewhat similar to pieces by Sam Maloof and others. The process for drawing the leg is fairly straightforward. I used two plugins to make this. First, the Classic Bezier Curve tool from the Bezier Spline tool set and then TIG-Weld plugin. I think both of these are must haves for drawing curves in SketchUp. Here's a bit of video to show how I drew it.
