I saw this chair in the Stickley catalog and just had to give it a try. I worked from the catalog photo and measurements taken from a traditional Morris Chair. Chair is made of Walnut and Cherry with traditional mortise and tenon joinery, bent laminations and finished with three coats for Danish Oil. Entire project took about 7 weeks plus three weeks for the cushions made by a local upholstery shop in South Bend, IN. This was a perfect project to keep me busy during the long, cold winter.
