This is my hand plane that is made of Padouk, Red Oak, and Sycamore. I had some alignment issues in relation to the assemblage of three different parts. It is apparent that there is a noticeable step between layers because of the contrast between texture and color. Also, the effect of hitting the alignment pins in the front and rear had its effect on design. The pins are noticeable as well. A lot was learned from this somewhat simple project.
