Completed Deinonychus skull

Making a dinosaur skull is a project few seldom attempt. The task for this project was to carve a wooden replica of a Deinonychus that was accurate in its features to an actual fossil. The skull is carved from five pieces of native white ceder painted and lacquered. The base is carved from mahogany with steel hardware.
