Torah Ark With Compound Curve Doors

Compound Curve Solid Wood doors are built by gluing 2 pieces together at a time.  The entire door is planed, sanded, and carved by hand using a knife.  About 150 hours were spent carving.  The glass inlays are made in the studio and the columns are made with round glue ups, lathed, and hand carved.  For more information about how this and other products are produced visit JewishArtistCenter.Org to learn more about techniques or
