MARRE LIVE EDGE COFFEE TABLE

Materials: Claro Walnut, Black Walnut

Dimensions: 74"L  x  26"W  x  15"H

Finish:  Natural hand-rubbed oil + wax -- buffed and polished to a satin gloss.

This piece features a live-edge Claro Walnut slab top with Black Walnut butterfly keys, and is set atop a modern Black Walnut base with tapered splay legs (similar to a few classic Nakashima 'Slab Coffee Tables' dating back to the 1940s that I've seen).  The table was handcrafted using traditional mortise & tenon joinery -- along with a couple wedged dowel pins to further support the legs -- no screws, bolts, nails or other types of hardware were used in its construction.

Thank you for your interest and for taking a closer look at my work.  I am constantly looking to improve as a woodworker, and would certainly welcome any comments or feedback you might have -- on this piece or any one of my other gallery submissions here on FWW.
