Cherry Fireplace Mantle

This was a modified replica of a friend's antique mantle. Took a lot of photos of the original and scaled it to fit my fireplace and ceiling height. Got talked out of hand carving a concave Newport Shell below the mantle, but still had fun with other details such as the columns.
