Jewelry box, Mahogany and Ebony

Lid lift of ebony.  Notice the hole...nail hole. This is all reclaimed.
Brass stop hinges (40$ but worth it...so fine).
Mitered splines of mahogany, too.  Even so, they look like different wood...its the exact same board.

Small jewelry box with one top tray.  Oil then poly finish (5ish coats).  Ebony lift.  Mitered splines.

(sorry of photos being so red... it's more brown, but you get the idea)
