A low sofa table commisioned to fit in an existing space. Designed to harmonize witht eh existing furniture, design sensibilities and color pallatte. In figure hard maple and walnut. Approximately 40"x13"x22.5. Obvious Nakashima influence in the one live edge top. Trapezoidal pillar legs and bridle jointed feet are set in opposition to one another and support a hanging shelf. Some challenging cross grain issues to resolve. Shelf is through tenoned to the leg and assembled with a finger joints.
