Heart shaped Jewelry box
comments (0) January 23rd, 2013 in Reader's Gallery
This heart shaped jewelry box was created from curly maple. Coated with a brown water based stain to highlight the curl, then sanded with 220 and stained with minwax redoak stain. A few coats of tung oil, then wetsanded and waxed. I just wish I could take photos to highlight the curl better, but I chose woodworking and not photography. :)
