My nephew's son needed help reaching the sink to brush his teeth. A 6" stool was the ticket. Made of curly alder and bloodwood. Designed in SketchUp first. The carving design was worked out in Photoshop, then printed to scale and transferred to the wood (using Saral) for carving. Curly alder is unquestionably the most cantankerous carving wood on earth. But it's worth it.
