My take on a carved wooden spoon.

I carved this a couple years ago back when I was still in an apartment and didn't really have any space to do any big projects. I doddled a simple celtic knotwork design, scaled it up, and transfered the plan to a piece of basswood using the tried and true method of making dark pencil lines on one side of the page, taping it plan side down on the blank, and scribbling over the back side of the paper to transfer the plan. I used a coping saw to cut out the holes and a whittling knife to carve the rest. After a little time with some sandpaper and stain the project is done!
