Monopoly Board

This Monopoly© board was a Christmas gift and my first project using veneers. The game board and property cards are made out of Purpleheart, Redwood Burl, Maple Birds Eye, Black Dyed String, Amboyna Burl, Red Gum Flat Cut, AAA Primavera Figured, Rosewood (Santos), Imbuya, and Jarrah, Apa (Quilted). The trim, houses and hotels are made of Walnut, Zebra, and Padoak. The game board is 21"x21"x4.5" and the top is composed of 125 individual pieces. The images were individually transferred by printing on a wax like paper and pressing the image onto the wood.
Design or Plan used: Recreation of the Hasbro game Monopoly©
