Rocking dinosaur
comments (3) December 27th, 2012 in Reader's Gallery
This is a toy I made for my son for his first birthday. Its made entirely from pine with a primer basecoat and three coats of acrylic, non toxic paint. The design is from Jeff Miller's book on children's furniture although my version has lots of mistakes here and there so isnt an exact replica. I used titebond II to glue the rocker laminations. Big mistake apparently as it doesnt dry hard enough but so far Ive had no perceptable springback.
