Maloof Inspired NBA Rocker
comments (0) November 29th, 2012 in Reader's Gallery
I first designed this rocker in 1980. I wanted a piece that flowed in one continuous line but I knew it would be difficult getting the balance right. Since then I have built a dozen rocking chairs. The current style reflects the smooth flows and balance I desired. The piece I'm featuring now is a large-scale rocking chair, made out of American Walnut, designed for man 6'4" and up. I've named the piece the NBA Rocker.
