Windsor-style Bed
comments (0) October 24th, 2012 in Reader's Gallery
Corcoran gave his futon mattress a new home by designing and crafting this lightweight platform bed. The headboard design was influenced by the Shaker and Windsor styles, with bent ash rails and vertical spindles. The bed is made from cherry, maple, and bronze. It has an oil finish.
