Jeff Miller
Jeff Miller is a furniture maker, teacher, author, and frequent Fine Woodworking contributor. He started his career as a classical musician but has been making furniture professionally for over 20 years. The Taunton Press published his first book, Chairmaking and Design, along with a companion video, Chairmaking Techniques in 1997. Both publications won Stanley Tools Awards for best how-to book and video. He's since authored Beds (Taunton, 1999), Children's Furniture Projects (Taunton, 2002), and co-authored Storage Projects for All Around the House (Taunton Press, 2005). The second edition of Chairmaking and Design is set to be published by Linden Publishing early in 2007. Miller also teaches woodworking from his Chicago studio.
