Regular readers of the magazine may have caught furniture maker David Moore’s article in issue 220 on making and using scratch stocks. FineWoodworking.com also ran a video with in-depth instruction regarding the same topic.
Well, it seem as though David hasn’t stopped there. His followup instructional video on how to inlay a diamond pattern with sweeping curves is just as informative and just as easy-to-follow.

A fantastic video. It shows that complicated design isn't so complicated after all when you understand how the designs are made. Thanks a lot for showing us how.
Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge. Really enjoyed the video.
Nice video I would like to build my own pantograph. I think instead of blowing around the dust ,you should hook up a shop vacum instead.
great video, I will be trying this technique this winter
How in the world did you keep the Paduk from bleeding into the Maple? Every time I do any inlay like that I have to scrape them individually them lightly bring them together. You are just sanding away! When I do that, I get red maple.... Beautiful work. I will use those tecniques on my next guitar!
very nice video!
