This rocker will become a child’s favorite chair, so it needs to be construted to take a beating. The construction is a combination of the typical and the unusual – though there are simple dadoes routed in the plywood panels to align the parts, everything is held together with 1/4-in. threaded rods and cap nuts. This makes it sturdy enough for the kids while providing easy knock down for storage or shipping.
