You can never have too many clamps, and most collections include at least a few light-duty hand clamps. The Adjustable Clamp Co. has introduced a new type of locking hand clamp that offers a few advantages over more conventional styles. The Pony ISD Hand Clamp has swiveling clamping pads and a quick-release locking mechanism. It is easy to set and release with one hand, and the clamping force is regulated simply by adjusting how hard you squeeze. Made in Taiwan, it has a comfortable grip, and the swiveling pads on its 2-1/4-in. and 4-in. sizes are riveted in place with metal pins. Available from both mail-order and online sources.
