He demonstrates his techniques using Tried and True Varnish Oil, a real boiled linseed oil with no additives, which Becksvoort claims gives the term “hand-rubbed finish” a whole new meaning. It can be applied over bare or stained wood and leaves a sheen that film finishes just can’t replicate.
